Welcome to Clarendon
A warm welcome awaits you at Clarendon, our beautiful Victorian villa in the heart of Bovey Tracey. We have two large luxurious double bedrooms (one of which can be made into twin beds), both with newly renovated modern en-suites. The rooms are spacious, with lovely views – either of Dartmoor, or overlooking the garden. The house itself retains many stunning original features, and combines the best of modern comfort with beautiful craftsmanship. From the house, it’s a short stroll to the centre of Bovey Tracey, or a five minute drive to Dartmoor, with Haytor only 4 miles away; a perfect location for walkers and cyclists. We also offer bike storage in our locked garage, and free parking in the drive. Bovey Tracey, known as the Gateway to the Moor, is not only ideally placed for exploring Dartmoor; the beautiful Devon coastline is easily accessible, or if you want to explore a city, then Exeter, Torquay and Plymouth are all within half an hour.

Clarendon is situated close to the centre of Bovey Tracey, the “Gateway to the Moor”, and only a ten minute drive from Haytor Rocks. We are ideally situated for walks on beautiful Dartmoor, with easy access to the South Devon coast, and the cities of Exeter, Torquay and Plymouth. It’s also a great place to break your journey if you’re planning to travel on to Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly.
